Building a Personal Foundation: Individual Work
We start with a comprehensive consultation. The goal is for us to meet each other, talk about the program we offer and see if this is a fit for you as well as, determining if you are a fit for the program.
We will discuss the issues or concerns that have lead you to seeking help.
Together we will evaluate your current foundation and determine if it is truly working for you.
We will teach you how to identify and express emotions through body centered techniques, rather than thinking your way through them.
We will assist you in building an aligned relationship with yourself so that you are successful in your personal relationship with others.

Living Behind the Mask
The term mask refers to the superficial way that a person presents to the world. It is often a pretend persona that does not reflect who a person truly is on the inside.
Throughout the process, especially at the beginning, we will spend time exploring how you present as “ok" and having it together (mask) while on the inside, you are living in a state of fear. When living in a state of fear, we react to life stressors from a place of seeing every situation through past traumas.
This perspective leads to using destructive behaviors that no longer serve you. We will help you gain insight into this.
Disarming the Guard Dog
Just under the surface, behind each of our masks is a Guard Dog/Addict. There is an intricate and intimate relationship between the mask and the guard dog. 90% of the time, we walk through life, living behind our mask. People tend to accept our mask without questioning. This generally works to ensure that we will look past theirs.
Every once in a while, someone will see past or behind our masks. When this happens, they get a view into how we are really feeling on the inside. This leaves us vulnerable and at risk for being hurt. Our guard dog’s job is to jump in and fight any perceived threats. The guard dog’s tactics are generally hurtful and destructive to us and the people in our life.
You will learn to recognize your Guard Dog behaviors and understand how they impact your relationships, self-worth, and your ability to discover your life purpose.
Identifying Your Core Issues
Building a Personal Foundation is the primary focus of this stage of the program. We believe that at each persons core are beliefs that were created very early in life. Subsequent experiences reinforce these beliefs.
When the core beliefs are negative ( I am Unlovable) they have a devastating effect on a persons self esteem. We have found that people who have negative core beliefs will go to any length to not feel them and not have them exposed.
We will guide you as you work to identify your core issues and beliefs. This process will allow you to develop the skills needed to create healthy boundaries and relationships with yourself and others.
Recognizing Your Core Beliefs
We understand that the messages we receive during our developmental years shape our core beliefs about ourselves and the world around us.
Our program is designed to help you explore these early messages and interpretations and gain a deeper understanding of how they affect your life today.


The Results
After completing Stage 1, you will have a deep understanding of the person who lives deep in your soul. You have uncovered the facades, the defenses, the false personas that have hidden you from yourself and from the rest of the world. Finally, you will be able to distinguish the person you have always yearned to be - separate and unique from the image you projected to the world.
